Welcome!

The idea for this forum emerged from a workshop titled "Protected areas and biodiversity conservation: linking with surrounding communities" at the 2008 meeting of the Society for Conservation Biology in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We wanted to continue our dialogue beyond the constraints of the workshop, to learn more about case studies and support each other in our work.
